Itinerary
Arrival in Shimla
● You will arrive at the Shimla airport or railway station, where a representative from the travel agency will greet you. They will escort you to your hotel in Shimla, where you can check in and freshen up.
● You can spend the rest of the day exploring Mall Road and Ridge Road, two popular attractions in Shimla. The Mall Road is a bustling shopping area with many restaurants, cafes, and shops selling local handicrafts. Ridge Road offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
● You can also visit the famous Christ Church and the Gaiety Theatre on Ridge Road. Christ Church is a beautiful neo-Gothic structure, while the Gaiety Theatre is a Victorian-style theater hosting many famous actors and performers.
● You can enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and relax in your hotel in the evening.
Shimla Sightseeing
● After breakfast at your hotel, you can visit the Jakhoo Temple, which is located on Jakhoo Hill. This temple is dedicated to the Hindu deity Hanuman and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
● You can also visit the State Museum and Library, which houses a large collection of artifacts and exhibits related to the history and culture of Himachal Pradesh.
● In the afternoon, you can take a short trip to Kufri, a small town about 20 km from Shimla. Kufri is known for its scenic beauty and offers opportunities for skiing and other winter sports (depending on the season).
● Return to Shimla in the evening and enjoy dinner at your hotel.
Shimla to Manali
● After breakfast, check out from your hotel and depart for Manali, about 250 km from Shimla. The journey will take around 7-8 hours and take you through some stunning mountain scenery.
● On the way, you can stop at the Pandoh Dam and the Kullu Valley, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
● Arrive at Manali in the evening and check into your hotel. Enjoy dinner and relax for the night.
Manali Sightseeing
● After breakfast at your hotel, you can explore Manali, known for its natural beauty and adventure activities.
● Visit the Hadimba Devi Temple, dedicated to the Hindu goddess Hadimba. This temple is in the middle of a forest and offers a serene and peaceful atmosphere.
● You can also visit the Manu Temple, located in the old town of Manali and dedicated to the sage Manu, who is believed to have created the human race.
● You can visit the Vashisht Temple and Hot Springs in the afternoon, about 3 km from Manali. These hot springs are believed to have healing properties and popular attractions among tourists.
● Return to your hotel in the evening and enjoy dinner.
Rohtang Pass Excursion
● After breakfast, you can take a day trip to Rohtang Pass, about 50 km from Manali. Rohtang Pass is a high mountain pass that offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
● You can also enjoy some adventure activities such as skiing, snowboarding, and sledding (depending on the season and weather conditions).
● In the evening, return to your hotel and enjoy dinner.
Departure
● After breakfast, check out from your hotel and depart for your next destination. The 6-night stay in the Manali valley has ended, and with it, we must say farewell to the wonderful memories we’ve made here. Your driver will take you to the Chandigarh airport or train station.
