Day 1

Delhi – Shimla 370 Km.

Embark on an exhilarating journey as we pick you up from Delhi and begin a long drive to Shimla, passing through the quaint towns of Chandigarh, Parwanoo, and Solan. After checking into the hotel, take a leisurely stroll down the famous Mall Road before indulging in a sumptuous dinner and retiring for the night.

Day 2

Transfer from Shimla to Sangla Valley

The following day, be ready for an early start as we head towards Sangla, a picturesque destination that is a whopping 8 to 9-hour journey away. En route, you’ll witness the breathtaking beauty of the Fagu, Theog, Matiana, and Rampur villages. We’ll stop for a lunch break, giving you ample opportunity to take in the stunning scenery and capture some unforgettable memories.

As the day wears on, we will continue our journey to Sarahan via Rampur before finally reaching Sangla Valley in the evening. Here, you will be treated to the ultimate camping experience and a comfortable stay at a local hotel.

Day 3

Start your day on a high note with a delicious breakfast before embarking on a mesmerizing tour of Sangla and Kamru Village. Our first stop will be the iconic Kamru Fort, which boasts a stunning temple dedicated to the goddess Kamakshi Devi.

Sangla Village, situated on the banks of the Baspa River, is renowned for its fertile soil, which yields a bountiful harvest. Nestled at 2621 meters above sea level, the village is located 17 km from Karcham and offers panoramic views of the majestic Raldang Peaks towering in the background. The charming village is perched on a hill, with houses seemingly rising above one another, adding to the captivating scenery.

Chitkul Village, located in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh, is the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibetan border. This picturesque village is situated in the Baspa Valley, considered one of the most beautiful valleys in the Himalayas. The lush green vegetation on the slopes is a bit steep, offering a feast for the eyes. The village is set on a hill, with houses rising above one another and the imposing Kinner Kailash Peak dominating the horizon.

Day 4

Sangla to Kaza

Prepare for another exciting day as we journey toward Kaza after relishing a delicious breakfast. En route to Kaza, we’ll make a pit stop at Nako Lake and Tabo.

Tabo is home to one of the most significant gompas in Spiti and the entire Tibetan Buddhist world. The monastery houses a modern gompa and painting school established by the Dalai Lama, making it a must-visit attraction. This historic monastery complex was constructed in 996 AD and remained the largest ascetic complex in Spiti.

As we go to Dhankar Gompa, we’ll also visit the Tabo Monastery, the oldest monastery in the Himalayas. Afterward, we’ll continue our scenic drive to Kaza, stopping at Dhankar village and monastery. Here, we’ll have the opportunity to indulge in some tea or lunch with a local family and learn about their unique way of life.

Finally, we’ll reach our destination, Kaza, and check in to the Kalpa Valley. Soak in the breathtaking beauty of the valley as you unwind and rejuvenate after an action-packed day. With memories of stunning monasteries, scenic drives, and heartwarming interactions with the locals, this journey will leave you with awe and wonder.

Day 5

Sightseeing around Kaza

Following a delightful breakfast, we will embark on a journey toward the charming village of Langza. Upon arrival, you will have the opportunity to explore the village and interact with the locals. Take the chance to visit the monastery atop the village, and keep an eye out for fossils along the way.

Witness the majestic yaks grazing in the fields and working the land. If weather permits, we will take a drive to Hikkim and Comic town, the highest village in the world accessible by a motorable road at an elevation of 4,450 meters. Next, we will continue our drive to the famed Kee Monastery and the picturesque village of Kibber, which was once known as the highest village in the world at 4,200 meters.

For an adventurous excursion, consider hiking to the nearby mountains, where you can spot large herds of Himalayan blue sheep and snow ibex. We will savor a delectable lunch at a local restaurant in Kibber, featuring a variety of mouth-watering Tibetan dishes. Finally, we will head back to Kaza for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 6

Kaza – pin valley – Kaza

Once we’ve savored our morning meal, we will embark on an exciting journey toward the mesmerizing Pin Valley. We will have the privilege of exploring the Pin River beach, admiring the Kungri Monastery, and immersing ourselves in the beauty of the village’s local places. After soaking up the splendor of this hidden gem, we will indulge in a delicious lunch with the locals and return to Kaza for a relaxing night’s stay.

Day 7

Kaza to Chandratal Lake

We will embark on a thrilling adventure to the breathtaking Chandratal Lake as the sun rises. Our journey will take us across the majestic Kunzam Pass (15,100ft) and upon reaching Baltal, we will transfer to a Sumo vehicle for the final leg of our journey toward the lake. En route, you will be mesmerized by the panoramic view of the towering CB Ranges Peaks.

The deep blue waters of Chandratal Lake stretch out before us, with a circumference of 2.5 kilometers, and is also the source of the river Chandra. Legend has it that this was where the god Indra’s chariot took the eldest Pandava brother, Yudhishthira, to heaven in his mortal form.

We will spend a full day at leisure, basking in the beauty of the natural surroundings and the snow-capped peaks, before settling in for an unforgettable night of camping by the tranquil waters of Chandratal Lake.

Day 8

Chandratal to Manali

Get ready for another early morning start at 6:30 AM as we embark on the longest drive of our journey to Manali. Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the Chander Tal Lake Camp before we hit the road, with lunch planned at a hotel en route.

Our journey will take us through two high mountain passes, one of which is the highest point on our entire tour – Kunzum Pass, standing tall at 4,558 meters (14,950 feet). Here, we will stop by the temple and offer our prayers before descending the pass, surrounded by stunning views of the CB ranges and glaciers.

Our journey continues over the Rohtang Pass, standing at 3,980 meters (13,058 feet), and eventually leads us to the charming town of Manali in the evening. After a long and exciting day, we will check in to our hotel and rest for the night.

Day 9

Manali-Delhi 570 Km.

On the final day of our adventure, we will depart from Manali in the morning and make our way back to Delhi. Our journey will end as we drop you off at either the Delhi Airport or Railway Station. It’s been an unforgettable trip filled with amazing sights and experiences to stay with you forever.
