Day 1

Transfer from Manali to Kaza

Wake up early in the morning and reach Kaza, which is approximately at a distance of 200 km from Manali. With a high altitude of 12,000 feet, Kaza is a great town in the Spiti region, becoming the first stop for an adventurous journey. On your way to Kaza, Rohtang Pass and Kunzum La Pass are the crossing points with 12000- and 15000-foot altitudes, respectively. You will have to go on a narrow road while embarking on a thrilling journey and having views of the stunning mountain. Once you arrive at Kaza, get into the hotel and have comfort with an amazing feel of the mountains and your further journey.

Day 2

Sightseeing around Kaza

It’s time to explore the valley now that you’ve become acquainted with its air and height. Explore the exquisite Kaza local market that provides a lot of woollens, handlooms, dry fruits, and so on. Visit the region’s main Kye Monastery and learn about its significance and history. If we have enough time left in the day, we can visit Kibber village for peaceful walks and breathtaking views. Stop here for lunch, which could be found in restaurants and local food joints, and enjoy the town’s traditional dishes. In the evening, return to Kaza and spend the night at the hotel.

Day 3

Kaza Local sightseeing

Now, travel to Hikkim, the region’s highest village, where you can see the world’s highest post office. Visit the Langza village as well, where you can explore the region’s old fossils and learn about its geography. Day 4

Kaza – Pin Valley – Kaza

Today will be a memorable day as you will visit the beautiful Pin Valley, which is home to several Buddhist monasteries. Pin Valley is also Himachal Pradesh’s only cold desert national park. The park is located in the Pin River Valley and is extremely scenic and green. The National Park’s exotic flora and fauna will undoubtedly pique your interest in the wild. After testing your wits and quelling your curiosity, it’s time to head back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Kaza.

Day 5

Kaza to Tabo

Tabo Monastery is a thousand-year-old monastery that houses ancient scriptures and statues. Tabo monastery, a three-hour drive from Kaza, is a gorgeous place of traditional and religious values. On the way, we’ll stop at Dhankar village, as well as the Dhankar monastery and fort. After a delicious lunch, we’ll return to Kaza to stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 6

Kaza to Chandertal Lake

This day of your adventurous trip will be difficult to forget. Today you will travel to the natural wonder Chandrataal Lake. The crescent-shaped Lake in the lap of nature will leave you speechless with its beauty and charm at a massive altitude of 4,300 metres. While camping alongside the Lake, take in the moonlight that shines directly above it.

Day 7

Chandertal to Manali

It’s time to say goodbye to nature’s wonder and continue on to Manali. We’ll leave early in the morning to avoid excessive traffic and chaos on the road. We returned to Manali via the same route we took to reach Lahaul and Spiti. Spend the night at the hotel upon arrival in Manali in the evening.You will be transported to a local airport or railroad station in the morning or that evening for your next leg of the trip back home.
