Day 1

Delhi, Begin from here

The first stop on your trip in Delhi. It’s a bustling, vibrant metropolis with over 18 million inhabitants and plenty of cultures to explore. You’ll want to head out into Old Delhi, where you can wander around the markets and visit the Jama Masjid Mosque. Don’t forget to pick up some spices at the Khari Baoli market!
You’ll want to get started early because this place gets packed by noon. Continue exploring the city by taking in all that it has to offer. You should check out Humayun’s Tomb, Red Fort and QutubMinar for incredible city views from different perspectives.

Day 2

Visit to forts, tombs and monuments at Delhi

The next morning, you will have a guided tour of the Red Fort and Jama Masjid. Take in the incredible architecture of these monuments before heading out to explore the markets and bazaars nearby. Sample some curries or pick up some of India’s famous spices at one of the many spice shops that line Chandni Chowk.
If you’re looking for something more traditional, try some jewellery made from pure gold at Sarojini Nagar’s Jewellery Street. Finish your day with dinner and drinks at Karim Hotel’s rooftop restaurant.

Day 3

Time for Agra Exploration

Set out at 9 am and explore the majestic Agra Fort. Spend the day in the Mughal capital, stopping by the iconic Taj Mahal to see one of the world’s seven wonders. You’ll be amazed by its beauty and wonder how it was created without modern technology.
After exploring, take a boat ride on the Yamuna River to see other historic sites like Akbar’s Tomb and Itmad-ud-Daulah’s Tomb. If you are looking for more adventure, try your hand at rock climbing or go paintballing! Enjoy a delicious dinner with your travel companion before you return to Jaipur tomorrow.

Day 4

Say wow to Pink City, Jaipur

Head out early this morningto Jaipur. On arrival, you’ll transfer directly to the hotel and get settled before heading off for a sightseeing tour around Jaipur City Palace, followed by lunch at an exclusive restaurant where you can try local dishes.
Enjoy a special performance of the famed Rajasthani folk dance Gatka in the evening. Return to your hotel after dinner and relax before bedtime.
You will be woken up early tomorrow to make it back in time for your next day’s plan.

Day 5

Jaipur visit

Your last stop on the Golden Sights of India tour is Jaipur, a city famous for its beautiful and ornate palaces. Enjoy the magnificent Amber Fort and Jantar Mantar observatory before taking in some local culture with a visit to Hawa Mahal. You can also see the intricately detailed City Palace and have time to explore Jaipur’s bustling market.
We recommend spending some time at the Hawa Mahal on the last day of your tour. Built-in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, it was originally known as the Palace of Winds and is a perfect example of Rajput architecture. Your guide will be happy to explain its history and interesting facts. As the sun sets over Jaipur, head back to your hotel for one last night.
The next morning, wake up early and pack up your belongings so you can check out of your hotel before catching an 11:00 am flight from Jaipur Airport. If you are returning home or heading elsewhere for another destination, get directions from your hotel concierge about what trains/buses to take from the airport.

Day 6

Departure with happy memories

Following breakfast, check-out and begin the drive back to Delhi. Drop off at the train or airport in Delhi.
After six days of exploring the sights and sounds of India, we are not in the mood to leave. Our one regret is that we didn’t have enough time to explore the country more extensively. We will be back in the future.
There’s still so much left for us to see and do! We’ve been daydreaming about all the amazing experiences that we missed out on. Fortunately, with a little planning, you can add some of these adventures to your itinerary the next time you visit this incredible country.
